Meet The Inspiration

Meet Cupid — a ten-year-old ball of chaos, heart-stealer, and the original inspiration behind Second Chance Animal Collars.

Cupid came into our lives in 2017, rescued from Louisiana alongside her seven littermates and given exactly the kind of second chance this brand is named for. She has been our greatest joy ever since, and has taught us more about patience — so much patience — than we ever thought possible.

A few years later, BoKa joined the family, adopted from Humane Fort Wayne, and quickly settled into her role as the sweetest little sister Cupid could ask for.

These two are more than our pets — they're my why. Cupid sparked the passion that started this journey, and together, she and BoKa reminds me every single day why helping animals find their forever homes is work worth doing.
